Brush Creation in Painter

Hand tool work and actual painting MUST be the major ingredients here, but the art need not be done entirely from scratch. Paintovers using a photo base layer or Painter cloning and tracing paper are welcome.

Brush Creation in Painter

I thought I would post a piece I did a while back that was done by creating my own brushes in Painter 11. I am returning to learning more skills in Photoshop. I still love Painter, but need to concentrate more now on Adobe Photoshop.

Kathy, this is awesome! I am too lazy to try brush creation. You are so good at it, and I love the way you've done this abstract with them!

Very cool! I use photoshop constantly for my photography and design, but there is nothing like the freedom of Painter for fun! I haven't sprung for Painter 11 yet, but I think it is supposed to make life easier when you're going back and forth between the two. That would be nice.
